Brivo Trade Show Booth

While working at Brivo as an in-house designer, I developed this trade show booth for our participation in a 2007 national security trade show.  The marketing department did not want to outsource this work, as they felt it needed to be designed by someone who was familiar with the product line and feel we wanted to convey.  When designing the booth, I had to consider how all the parts of the booth would work together, including how the design and colors would look on such a large scale.  According to Brivo’s marketing department, the trade show was a big success, and traffic at this booth was significantly increased compared to previous years.  Part of this change was likely due to the new eye-catching design and color scheme we used.

Thank you for visiting my Web site!  I have worked in the design and multimedia field since 1999, using my skills to create interactive and appealing designs for a wide variety of customers. My skills have been acquired in both formal educational settings and through years of practical application.  I currently work as an in-house designer for a hardware and software company where I develop Web sites, software GUIs, promotional materials, brochures, trade show booths, and business collateral.

Original Designs: I challenge myself in every project, aiming to use original ideas that communicate the client’s vision. I try to incorporate something new and original into every design. Deviating from conventional rules whenever possible, I use my creativity to give my clients something truly unique. I am passionate about what I do and it shows in my work.

Professional Experience: Years of design experience has made me adept at working with anyone in any situation. I have learned to ask the right questions and to avoid problems by anticipating them ahead of time.  In addition, because design is an evolving field, I keep my skills current by constantly reading up on various developments and networking with other graphic designers.

Simply put, I love what I do and am passionate about doing it.  I consider myself dually-brained, equally adept at using my right side to create ingenious designs and ideas, and my left side to put my ideas into action.  My personal philosophy is that if I do not know something, I will find a way to learn it!
